The Stars of Social Care Awards, Home Care, took place at the London Marriott Hotel, Regents Park, on Friday 20th June, and we were very excited as we were named finalists in two categories!
Lynn James-Wellings, Registered Manager, was shortlisted for ‘The Outstanding Home Care Provider Award’ and Becky Burke, Senior Field Supervisor, was shortlisted for ‘The Fabulous Frontline Leader Award.’
We are beyond proud to announce that our fabulous Registered Manager was the winner of ‘The Outstanding Home Care Provider Award.’ And, of course, we are pleased that Becky became a finalist amongst a talented line-up of true heroes.
This is the third year that this event will shine a light on the stars of social care, paying tribute to the workforce, who, through their dedication and a commitment to care, go above and beyond to support those who are vulnerable.
The presenter of the award was Josie Gibson, TV presenter for ITV’s This Morning. It was a fabulous evening, starting with a drinks reception and followed with a three-course meal. During which the awards presentation took place. We shared our table with many other stars of social care who were there to celebrate the unsung heroes within our communities, who deserve our gratitude and recognition for their commitment to caring for others.
