About the Role:
As the lead carer during the night shifts, you will ensure the safety and clinical stability of a child with complex needs. Your duties will include:
- Advanced Care: Managing tracheostomy care, BiPAP, oxygen monitoring, and oral suction.
- Nutritional Support: Managing PEG/JEG feeding and administering medication.
- Emergency Care: Monitoring for seizures and administering rescue medication.
- Family Liaison: Building trusting relationships while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Paediatric Complex Carers to support within an on-going complex paediatric client as part of care package within the family home. This role is focused on Night Shifts, providing high-level clinical and personal care to ensure the child’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night.
You will work alongside other trained carers and/or nurses, delivering consistent and responsive care in a supportive home environment. This is a highly rewarding role suited to someone who is calm, attentive, and clinically confident in managing complex airway and medical needs overnight.
