The Home Care Awards celebrate excellence within the home care sector, recognising innovation, compassion, and outstanding service. Care First 24 were selected as a finalist in the Training and Staff Expertise, Jayne Easterbrook. Jayne has been the key driver in embedding training and development at the heart of our operation. She is critical to delivering a comprehensive programme that combines mandatory and statutory training, bespoke clinical skills development, and innovative initiatives such as the Preceptorship for Social Care and Nursing Apprenticeships.
Care First 24 was also selected as a finalist in the Team Support Experts (staff wellbeing, personal development, etc). At Care First 24, we believe exceptional care begins with exceptional staff support. Hence, we teamed up with TOTUS and launched a groundbreaking initiative that went live in mid-2024. TOTUS is led by psychiatrist and Freedom to Speak Up Champion, Michael Bird, supported by Somerset Bird, delivering a 360-degree wellness programme that supports clients, families and staff.
