Care First 24 Apprenticeship Programme

Care First 24 has a rolling Apprenticeship programme.

There is no better time to work as a nurse in social care.  There are lots of opportunities and a wide range of necessary experiences available in the sector.

If you are interested in becoming a Nurse on a 4-year degree course, or a Nursing Associate on a 2-year degree course, then there are good reasons to choose the apprenticeship route. You can earn a wage while you learn, with no student loans to pay back. You will get support from us as your employer to enable you to succeed.

To be eligible to apply for the course you must meet the following criteria:

Entry Criteria: Internal Applicants

  • You must be employed by Care First 24 at the start of the apprenticeship and work solely for Care First 24 on a PAYE contract.
  • All mandatory training should be up to date, and you should have an excellent record in terms of attendance and performance.
  • You will need to have Maths and English qualifications (at GCSE A to C or grade 4 or above for the new qualifications) or functional skills level 2*. If you do not have these qualifications, you will need to complete them before starting the course.
  • You must be eligible for the government apprenticeship funding.

  • The organisational application form and personal statement should be completed and emailed to training@carefirst24.co.uk
