Paediatric Clinical Lead:
Care First 24, is an award-winning care provider. We’re urgently recruiting a Paediatric Clinical Lead to support our expanding paediatric complex care services in the community in South Wales.
Our ethos is “Care First – Always”. We’re passionate about delivering safe, high-quality, child-centered care to children with complex needs and their families.
Above all, we’re on the hunt for a dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Clinical Lead to join our growing team,. You will be supported by our in-house Clinical team who are experienced in delivering solid care for our children requiring complex care and their families.
Shifts
Monday to Friday flexibility is required
Responsibilities:
- Act in a professional manner and adhere to the NMC code.
- Support the registered manager in providing leadership to the care and support staff
- Oversee the placing of the right staff to the right complex care service user.
- To deliver a professional and safe service & Patient Safety and Risk Management.
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing and care staff
- Conduct assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for patients
- To contribute to a regional or local on-call rota and cover for colleagues
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Skills:
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in paediatric nursing
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Proficiency in medication administration
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
This position requires a valid nursing license and a minimum of 3 years of experience in paediatric nursing.
Valid driving licence and own transport required
